My NZ grandmother swore by Manuka honey for any sort of stomach problem, I used to think it was an old wifes tale, and that it was all that was available in her day, but now I am a firm believer because I have tried it and it works. Manuka UMF honey sure beats taking a whole lot of tablets. I have found that when I take a spoon of Manuka honey after the evening meal that I don’t have any problems with reflux, it isn’t a one-off cure because I have to take it regularly, but it does work, and it is a great natural product.
